Product License

When you buy a product from NeuralForge, you're getting a license to use it — not ownership of the underlying work. This page explains what that license covers. Per-product license terms (listed on a product's own page) take precedence over what's written here.

The license you get

Upon successful payment, you are granted a perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the purchased product for the purposes described below. "Perpetual" means it doesn't expire — buy once, use forever.

What you can do

• Use the product on any device(s) you personally own or control
• Use the product in your own work, including work you get paid for (consulting deliverables, internal company use, freelance projects, etc.) — unless the product page says otherwise
• Modify, customize, and adapt the product for your own use
• Include incidental excerpts in your own larger work, where the bulk of the value comes from your own contribution
• Make a personal backup copy

What you can't do

• Redistribute, resell, sublicense, or give away the product or a substantial portion of it — whether free or paid, public or private
• Repackage, rebrand, or relist the product (with or without modification) on any other marketplace or distribution channel
• Publish the product (or modified versions) to a public repository, file sharing site, torrent, or AI dataset
• Use the product (or its content) to train, fine-tune, or evaluate machine-learning models without explicit written permission
• Use the product for anything illegal, defamatory, harmful, or that infringes someone else's rights
• Remove or alter copyright, attribution, or watermark notices included with the product
• Share your purchased account, license key, or download link with others

Team and organization use

Unless a product page specifies otherwise, a single purchase covers one individual user. For products explicitly marked as "Team" or "Org" licenses (e.g., team Notion templates), the included seat count and team-use rights are described on the product page.

Source files and templates

When a product includes editable source (Notion templates, code, design files, prompt files), you can modify those for your own use under the rules above. The license still covers the modified version — you can't redistribute it just because you changed parts.

Games and interactive experiences

Game products are licensed for personal and small-group play (you and people physically with you, or in a private session you host for friends/family). Commercial play (paid events, public streams monetized via the product, etc.) requires written permission.

Updates

Updates to a product (bug fixes, content additions) are provided at our discretion and are not guaranteed. When updates ship, they're included in the license you already hold — no extra charge.

Refunds and license revocation

If you receive a refund, the license to use the refunded product ends and you agree to delete any copies and derived materials. See the Refund Policy for details.

We can revoke a license for material breach of these terms (e.g., redistribution, training on the content, chargeback after extended use). In those cases no refund is owed.

Warranty disclaimer

Products are provided "as is" without warranty. We don't promise that any product is fit for a particular purpose, will integrate cleanly with your specific tools, or will continue to work as third-party dependencies (Notion, your browser, etc.) change. We do our best to ship things that work; we can't guarantee everything everywhere.

How to know what specific products allow

The default rules above cover most NeuralForge products. Some products may extend rights (e.g., a public prompt pack you're explicitly allowed to share excerpts from for promotional use) or restrict them (e.g., a high-value template limited to a single household). Check the product page for any product-specific terms — they always win over this default.
